Behavior Interventionist

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Interventionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to a 4 year with Autism.
The ideal candidate will of worked with young children on the spectrum, especially non-verbal.
I am looking for someone who also is comfortable as a caregiver for my 2 boys outside of therapy hours. This is once connection and trust is built. Experience with touch chat is preferred.
Days and time frame:
Tuesday 9:30am-11:30am
Wednesday 9:30am-11:30am
Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate the behavioral needs of children, developing individualized treatment plans. Implement behavior modification strategies and interventions based on best practices. Monitor and document progress, collecting data to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for children. Foster positive relationships with children, promoting trust and open communication.
Requirements
Experience working with children, particularly those with Autism. Strong understanding of ABA Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral assessments. Outgoing personality Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and professionals. Ability to remain patient and empathetic in challenging situations while maintaining professionalism.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
Work Location: In person
