Description:

We are looking for a fun and dedicated behaviour interventionist (BI) to join our team to provide one-on-one support for an 8-year old boy diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).As a BI, your role would be to implement a behaviour plan of intervention (BPI) to help teach a variety of social, academic and play skills, while collecting appropriate data. All training is provided, along with monthly support from a board certified behaviour analyst (BCBA).

Qualifications:

Must be at least 19 years of age Commit to at least one year in this role Kind, fun, with great play skills Ability to stay calm under pressure Demonstrate patience and understanding at all times Commit to at least one year of working with the family Be able to implement behaviour programs as designed (all training provided) At least one year of experience in a similar role is preferred A background in ABA, psychology or child development is preferred, but not necessary

: Surrey, BC (Fraser Heights area)

Hours:

We are looking for someone who is able to commit to one session per week (2 hours per week) from the following availability:

Weeknights (flexible) - after 4pm Weekends - (flexible) - must be available at least one weekday every month (after 4pm) for monthly supervision from BCBA

Pay:

Can be negotiated depending on experience
