Job Overview

Providing beforecare/aftercare including school drop off/pickup for a 4.5 year old boy.

Responsibilities

MORNING: Arrive to household at 8am Serve breakfast (food will be provided) Assist in getting child dressed and ready for school Drive child to Ancaster Meadow school for 9am drop off AFTERNOON: Return to Ancaster Meadow school for 330pm pickup (school ends at 335pm but plan to be there for 330pm in case of traffic) Drive back to household to provide snack and play until parent arrives home Booster seat will be provided Please note - there are 2 separate households (shared custody): 1) Emick Dr, Ancaster 2) Laurier Ave, Hamilton Note: We are open to the idea of care in your own home if you live close to the school (in which case driver's license and vehicle may not be required)

Hours as follows:

Mon morning - will alternate from Emick and Laurier locations 8-9am Mon afternoon - Emick 330-5pm Tues n/a Wed morning - Emick 8-9am Wed afternoon - Laurier 330-430pm Thurs morning - Laurier 8-9am Thurs afternoon - Laurier 330:430pm Fri morning - Laurier 8-9am Fri afternoon - will alternate from Emick and Laurier locations 330-430 Opportunity for additional hours (approx 6h) for general housekeeping at Emick if desired

Experience and Requirements

Candidates should possess a strong background in education or caregiving Drivers license and vehicle required (proof of drivers license will be required) unless your home is within close walking distance to the school and suitable for care Vulnerable sector check will be required References will be required
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.87-$25.52 per hour

Expected hours: 8.5 - 13.5 per week
