Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:45am - 9:30am and 3:15pm - 5:45pm
Pay Rate
(includes wage grants)

RECE $27.72/hr; Non RECE - $25.18/hr
About the Role:
Reporting to the Program Supervisor, the Before & After School Early Childhood Educator will create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth of the children.

What We're Looking For:
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-year experience working directly with children, or in a childcare setting with school-aged children.
Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent qualifications, such as a Child & Youth Worker, OCT - Teacher, or Recreation & Leisure diploma.
Certifications:
Standard First Aid with CPR Level C
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Proof of up-to-date immunizations (TB, Tetanus, MMR)
Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
Skills & Knowledge:
Familiarity with

Conduct daily check-ins and documentation according to Ministry of Education requirements.
Work collaboratively with the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty and maintain professional relationships.
