Job Description
Springbrook Montessori Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)
to join our before and after school age program. This role is perfect for an educator who is passionate about creating engaging, safe, and inclusive environments for school-aged children.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical activity Transport the children to and from the local schools. Supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Support social, emotional, and behavioral development in a group setting Ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and all licensing requirements Maintain accurate daily records and documentation as required
Qualifications:
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators Experience working with school-aged children in a licensed program preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required Knowledge of health, safety, and nutrition standards in child care settings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.55 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
Work Location: In person
