Job Description

Red Truck Beer Company is seeking a motivated Front-of-House Server to join our team. We operate a Truck Stop Diner and Production Facility in East Vancouver and are looking for tasting room server with prior serving experience and excellent beer knowledge to provide stellar, timely service to our guests. Our servers work varying schedules and lengths of shifts and will need to possess an open availability. To excel in this position the candidate will need to possess a love for craft beer, passion for hospitality and an upbeat, go-getter attitude.

Front-of-House Server Responsibilities Include:

Take and process guests' orders in a timely fashion. Memorize drink and food menu for on-demand recitation. Upsell drink and menu items as appropriate for individual guests and parties. Run food and ensure proper and accurate delivery of all items. Manage large groups quickly and efficiently through attentive service and precise order taking. Maintain the atmosphere and cleanliness of the Truck Stop Diner and handle guests complaints/requests quickly.

Front-of-House Server Requirements Include:

Understanding of the brewing industry, processes and products.

2+ years' wait staff experience. Excellent customer service and hospitality skills. Well-groomed and put together appearance. Ability to work well under intense time of pressure. Excellent emotional control in fast-paced environments. Dedication to timeliness and accuracy. Comfort with TouchBistro POS software a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.40 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
