Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate

Behaviour Consultant / BCBA

to join our growing team at our Maple Ridge clinic. The ideal candidate is confident in delivering high-quality behaviour intervention services, building strong relationships with families, and supporting Behaviour Interventionists (BIs) in providing evidence-based, child-centred programs.

Key Responsibilities



Complete comprehensive behavioural assessments, including: VB-MAPP Assessment Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) Skills-based assessments as needed Develop individualized Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIPs) grounded in

Applied

Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). Provide hands-on training, mentoring, and ongoing supervision to Behaviour Interventionists. Collaborate closely with families, school teams, and multidisciplinary professionals. Conduct regular program reviews, update treatment plans, and ensure data-driven decision making. Support toileting programs, communication programs, and skill-building across all developmental domains. Prepare progress reports and contribute to meetings (IEPs, team meetings, family consults). Uphold ethical practice in alignment with BCBA ethics and provincial guidelines.

Required Qualifications



Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. BCBA certification (or eligible for BCBA and actively pursuing credential). Strong understanding of early intervention, autism spectrum disorder, and evidence-based practices. Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. Comfortable working in both clinic and community settings.

Preferred Qualifications



Experience supervising BIs or therapists. Experience with social skills groups, parent coaching, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
