Position Overview
We are seeking a
passionate and resourceful Basketball Coach
to lead our student-athletes in developing their athletic potential, teamwork, and discipline. The ideal candidate will not only coach and train players but alsobuild connections with the local basketball community
andguide students toward future athletic and career opportunities
.Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a structured
basketball training program
aligned with students' age and skill levels. Organize and lead practices, games, and tournaments. Create individualized development plans to help students pursuepost-secondary basketball or sports-related careers
. Collaborate with the school to establishpartnerships with local clubs, leagues, and organizations
(e.g., MLSE Foundation, Raptors Development, community centers). Arrange access tolocal courts and training facilities
when needed. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude both on and off the court. Maintain communication with parents, teachers, and staff regarding player progress and participation.Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week
Work Location: In person
