GSH is looking for a Base Manager for our base in Norman Wells, NT. Position: Base Manager Location: Norman Wells, NT Profile: The Base Manager will be responsible for managing all functions at the base including but not limited to administration, flight operations and client relations functions. Key Accountabilities: \xc2\xb7 Performing assignments with instructions but is required to exercise independent judgment in the field to maintain company standards. \xc2\xb7 Developing a rapport with local community, including political leaders, business and government. \xc2\xb7 Developing and maintaining business in a professional manner. \xc2\xb7 Establishing and maintaining a base safety program and safety committee to ensure regulatory and company standards are met or exceeded. \xc2\xb7 Crewing aircraft. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, including a continuous monitoring of all essential limitations to ensure tasks can be completed without compromising safety or component values. \xc2\xb7 Ensuring flight plans and maps appropriate to remote work areas are on board aircraft. \xc2\xb7 Maintaining a relationship with partnership members in the region. \xc2\xb7 Other related duties as required. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Knowledgeable of the area served by the base \xc2\xb7 1000 flight hours \xc2\xb7 Mountain Course and experience \xc2\xb7 Valid Canadian commercial helicopter license \xc2\xb7 Valid DoT medical certificate \xc2\xb7 Valid driver\'s license Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Benefits:
