Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The bartender will be a key part of our food and beverage service team, contributing to a lively and friendly environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS. Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when needed. Ensure all food safety and food handling standards are maintained at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces. Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service policies. Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.

Experience

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in a bar or hospitality setting. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and serving guests professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
