We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, prepare and serve beverages, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, food safety, and cash handling procedures. The Bartender will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.
Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and process payments efficiently
Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Serve food items when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple guests promptly
Skills
Proven experience in food industry roles, especially in restaurant or bar settings
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs accurately
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor suitable for hospitality roles
