Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our Heritage Farms Brewing Co team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong knowledge of beverages and food service. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.

Duties

Prepare and serve beer and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash register. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Experience

Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred, particularly in a bartending role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Knowledge of various beverages, cocktails, and food pairings is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours. Must be 18+ and have or obtain valid Smart Choices Certification
