POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced bartender who excels in crafting elegant cocktails, working in luxury environments, and providing superb customer service. The ideal candidate has solid bartending knowledge, patience during peak hours, and the professionalism to perform smoothly during special events and busy evenings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and serve premium cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks with consistency, accuracy, and upscale presentation.
Demonstrate strong mixology skills, including shaking, muddling, infusions, syrups, layering, and sophisticated garnishing techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized bar, including glassware, tools, inventory, stock rotation, and sanitation standards.
Interact with guests in a friendly, patient, and refined manner to ensure a superb and memorable customer experience.
Upsell beverages confidently while maintaining professionalism and guest comfort.
Handle orders efficiently during busy hours, weekends, and special events, ensuring accuracy under pressure.
Follow all liquor handling, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
Assist with opening and closing duties, cash handling, restocking, and shift change tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a lounge, bar, fine-dining, or luxury hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, premium spirits, wine, mocktails, and sophisticated garnishing techniques.
Demonstrated ability to remain calm, patient, accurate, and composed during peak hours or large events.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills with a polished, professional, and friendly demeanor.
Smart Serve certification required.
Food Handler Certificate preferred, or willingness to obtain.
Ability to multitask, memorize drink recipes, menu items, and specials, and recommend beverages confidently.
Strong cash handling or POS system experience, and comfort processing payments and tips.
Capable of maintaining a clean, sanitary, and fully stocked bar area, compliant with safety and food handling standards.
Ability to perform opening, closing, and restocking duties, including inventory awareness.
Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and professional in appearance and conduct.
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift small bar supplies when needed.
