Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders from guests using the POS system. Upsell menu items to enhance the experience and increase sales. Serve beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cashiering duties, including processing payments accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with food preparation when necessary to support kitchen staff during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant/bar environment is preferred but not required. Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure food safety standards are met. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members. A willingness to learn about menu items and enhance upselling techniques for improved customer experiences.
