Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages. Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety. Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.

Experience

Prior experience in hospitality, particularly within a restaurant or bar setting, is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is beneficial. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours. A personable attitude with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
