Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and hospitality industry, along with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, mixing and serving beverages, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices. Assist in maintaining inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages. Comply with food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be at least 18 years old or meet local legal requirements for bartending.

Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
