Overview


We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing customer orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Previous experience in food and beverage service, particularly in a restaurant or hospitality setting, is highly valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience while adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service protocols.

Responsibilities



Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS. Take customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of drinks and attentive service throughout their visit. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, following food safety standards. Ensure responsible serving of alcohol by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, mixers, and beverages to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Engage with guests in a friendly manner to promote a positive atmosphere and enhance their overall experience. Assist with food handling when necessary, supporting the kitchen staff during busy periods. Uphold all health and safety policies related to food handling, food safety, and overall sanitation.

Requirements



Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills or tips accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations. Good communication skills and a friendly personality that fosters a welcoming environment for guests. Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcohol legally. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
