Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently.
Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu.
Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with local laws.
Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Uphold health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Skills
Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of food handling practices in accordance with health regulations.
Basic math skills for calculating bills and managing cash flow.
Familiarity with food service operations within the food industry.
