Job Description

We are currently looking for a friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest experience at our Scarborough location. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make guests feel welcome in our bar will stand out. You will be responsible for mixing drinks and making recommendations based on client needs. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with alcohol.

Excellent mixology skills ability to pour beer from draft tab Knowledge of liquor laws and how each cocktail is made Up-to-date with new trends in liquor drinks In-depth knowledge of local food and drink trends Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task Strong customer service skills

Duties include:

Greeting customers upon their arrival. This includes checking their identification and confirming it is valid in Ontario for drinking age. Making drinks following our made-to-order menu. Maintaining an appropriate level of service. This includes pouring drinks, taking orders, checking identification and answering questions about the food or cocktails. Cleaning bar area(s) according to established cleaning standards (i.e., mopping, wiping down glassware and bar equipment, etc.) Closing up the bar at the end of the evening with cleaning supplies and restocking all bar items as needed. (This may include stocking ice, alcohol, and other bar supplies) Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
