Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, managing bar operations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with food handling and service as required, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Train and mentor junior bartenders and bar staff on best practices in bartending techniques, customer service, and safety protocols. Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with alcohol regulations and promote responsible drinking. Keep track of inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain stock levels. Maintain Hyatt standards

Skills

Proven bartending experience with a strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Proficient in cashiering, including handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry is essential. Strong mathematical skills for managing cash flow and inventory calculations. Familiarity with POS systems to efficiently process orders and payments. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $17.85-$19.85 per hour
