Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately while providing change as necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.

Skills

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong cashiering skills with proficiency in handling cash and using POS systems. Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining environment. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
