Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. A background in the food industry, restaurant experience, and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences Use POS systems such as Toast for order processing and cashiering duties Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and giving change Ensure all drinks are served responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces Engage with customers to provide friendly service, answer questions about menu items, and create a positive experience Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Assist in serving food when required, supporting overall restaurant operations Uphold high standards of hospitality, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork at all times

Experience

Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating drink portions Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential Ability to manage time efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
