Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food and beverage service within a lively hospitality environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards at all times Manage cash register operations, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service Assist in setting up the bar area before shifts and cleaning up after closing

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Basic math skills necessary for cashiering and transaction accuracy Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements Hospitality background or experience in food service is advantageous Must be personable, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week

Work Location: In person
