We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bartender with a big personality to join our spirited team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests, developing relationships with regulars and being a dynamic staple at Plank.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a space guests will want to return to through creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.

Responsibilities

:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes, Plank specific cocktail recipes, and customer preferences. Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations. Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Stay informed about menu offerings, drink specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests. Uphold food safety standards and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Qualifications

:

Previous bartending experience is a must, minimum 2 years at a fast faced cocktail bar. Knowledge of classic cocktail recipes. Strong knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a hospitable environment. Ability to operate POS systems efficiently for order processing. Strong attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (we are ideally looking for someone with full, open availability).

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
