Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a key member of our staff, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while accurately preparing and serving drinks, managing transactions, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and serve beverages promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards at all times Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and prevent over-serving Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts

Requirements

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and drink orders efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest experience Must be at least 21 years old (where applicable by law)
