We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by serving high-quality drinks in a friendly and efficient manner.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking drink orders and answering questions about the menu. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol, ensuring responsible service practices are adhered to at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining compliance with health department standards. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service best practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food service industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of hospitality principles, food handling, and food safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Strong time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcoholic beverages. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
