BARTENDER

Way up north in the Wapusakatto Mountains, you'll find Western Labrador's Ski and Snowboard Resort, Smokey Mountain Ski Club. Since 1961, we've been hitting the slopes and sharing our love of skiing and snowboarding with the communities of Labrador West and visitors from around the globe.

Smokey Mountain is a vibrant hub of four seasons outdoor fun, food, and community-based events! With modern amenities, ongoing upgrades, and a bunch of exciting projects on the horizon, there's never been a better time to join our team!

Position Overview:

We're looking for an energetic and personable fulltime (35-40hrs/week)

Bartender

to join our team, located right at the base of the mountain. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating great guest experiences, mixing up quality drinks, and keeping the apres-ski atmosphere fun and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests efficiently and responsibly Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, mountain-lodge environment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stock, glassware, and equipment Handle cash and POS transactions accurately Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service Support lodge events, apres-ski specials, and group functions Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed Follow all health, safety, and liquor regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of bartending experience preferred (hospitality or resort experience an asset) Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the ski season Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and love for the mountain lifestyle
