Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions responsibly and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed. Uphold high standards of hospitality while creating a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry. Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy shifts. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests is a must. Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
