We are seeking an experienced and efficient Bartender to join our team. As we continue to grow in terms of sales and volume we are looking to add to our strong team. To be considered for an interview the candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing transactions, and ensuring all patrons have an enjoyable experience in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are a must. If you do not have experience in a full service restaurant, behind the bar, please do not apply.
Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
Use POS system Toast for order entry, billing, and cash handling
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing recommendations
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, beverages, and utensils
Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a must
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Hospitality experience is required
Must be at least 18 years old or older to serve alcohol
