We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to food safety and handling standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor, garnishes, and glassware. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate the POS system efficiently for order entry and payment processing; experience with Micros POS is preferred. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is required; bartending experience is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation calculations. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations related to food service. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to bartending and hospitality are essential.
