We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, beverage preparation, and cash handling, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The bartender will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our establishment while fostering a lively and enjoyable environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and serve beverages in a timely manner.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during food handling and serving processes.
Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service experiences that promote repeat business.
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with prior bartending preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order totals.
Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations.
Knowledge of the food industry trends and hospitality best practices.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery.
