We are currently looking for an enthusiastic coffee lovers and cafe extraordinaire to join our Langley location. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide excellent service and maintain a clean workspace will contribute to the overall success of our cafe.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring all payments are processed efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including food preparation areas, dining spaces, and equipment. Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards and regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all products served. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices is an asset; certification in food handling is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for coffee and customer service is essential for success in this role.
