Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is able to greet customers, make drinks and cash out transactions as well as assist with general cleanliness and some food preparation. This position is located in Musquodoboit Harbour.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash and handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Assist with food preparation as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems, specifically Sqaure is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job perks:

- The position STARTS at $16.50 an hour plus tips (can equal anywhere from an extra $2-$10/per hour)
