We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. The Barista will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using POS systems such as Micros POS. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures. Take customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely service. Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks, including assembling food items and maintaining food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Follow food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed. Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
