Barista

Hush Coffee Store by COFU is a small but passionate team dedicated to craft coffee, thoughtful hospitality, and a calm, refined atmosphere inspired by Japanese simplicity.

We're looking for a

Barista

who loves coffee, values quality, and feels confident in both espresso-making and light food preparation. This role blends coffee craftsmanship with simple cooking -- ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

Prepare espresso-based beverages and pour consistent

latte art

Prepare matcha-based beverages with precision Handle food preparation, including cutting, pan-frying, and making

Japanese pancakes (imagawayaki)

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace Engage with customers warmly to ensure an excellent guest experience Take initiative to restock, troubleshoot, and support the team during busy hours Work independently and responsibly during slower periods

Required or Desired Skills:

Minimum

6 months of barista experience

Ability to create

consistent latte art

Familiar with

basic food preparation

, including pan-frying and baking Quick learner with curiosity and adaptability Responsible and proactive -- solves problems instead of leaving them Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience and skills, plus tips Staff meals and discounts available to all employees

Contract Type:

Full-time (30-40 hours a week)

Expected Working Hours:

Friday to Tuesday, between 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
