Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food and beverage preparation, cash handling, and customer engagement within a dynamic food service setting. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. The position involves working with POS systems, including Micros POS, and adhering to food safety standards to ensure a positive experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards Operate POS systems efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety guidelines Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling drinks, snacks, or light food items as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary

Requirements

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in the

food industry

is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
