Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
Operate POS systems such as Square - efficient processing and cash handling.
Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations.
Assist with food preparation, including basic food handling and serving tasks.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations.
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels.
Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
Uphold excellent customer service standards by engaging with customers courteously and efficiently.
Skills
Proven experience as a Barista or in the food industry, with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
Friendly attitude with a passion for coffee, community, and care
Familiarity with POS systems such as Square
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and efficiently.
Experience in serving in cafe or retail environments is advantageous.
