Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play an integral part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils used in food preparation. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order processing. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; experience in the food industry is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for customers. Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures related to food handling is essential. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Pay: $17.20-$25.49 per hour
