We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing drinks, handling transactions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cash handling, and customer service while contributing to a vibrant team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Manage customer orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards Handle food safety procedures and ensure proper food handling practices are followed Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with health regulations Assist with food preparation and serving snacks or light menu items as needed Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction

Skills

Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Experience in serving, food preparation, and general food safety practices is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
