Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. This role offers an engaging environment where attention to detail, time management, and a passion for the food industry are essential. The Barista will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring each guest has a positive experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using espresso machines and other equipment Handle cash register transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with food safety standards Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service Perform food preparation tasks including assembling light food items and snacks Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality in all food service activities

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus Experience in serving, food preparation, and cashiering roles will be beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
