We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in food preparation and handling will ensure that our customers enjoy their experience while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Operate the Micros POS system for order processing and payment transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and serving areas.
Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Uphold high standards of quality in both product preparation and customer interactions.
Requirements
Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
