As a Barista / All Rounder you will work with the team to provide the best experience possible for each of our guests, which as a Barista means crafting quality beverages and building positive customer relationships. You will effectively complete opening/closing coffee bar duties, adhere to Food & Safety guidelines, and create fantastic tasting drinks. Be proactive and contribute to the development and evolution of the cafe.

In addition to your core barista duties, you'll assist the bike shop and support the team with various tasks to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Your flexibility and willingness to contribute to all aspects of the business will be crucial in helping us deliver the ultimate guest experience

General Responsibilities:

Greets customers, take orders, mix and serve. Knowledge of coffee and making fantastic hot and cold beverages such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea's, etc... while considering customer specifications and concerns. Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of Bike and Brew. "To deliver legendary customer service to all customers by building relationships." Maintain coffee bar area in a neat and sanitary manner. Cleans and sanitize coffee equipment, coffee bar, sitting areas, restrooms, all surfaces touched by customers and take out garbage. Records all sales, collects money, operates a cash register and follows all cash-handling procedures as required. Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning. Helping Sales staff with tasks when coffee bar is slow. Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Experience/Knowledge:

Minimum 1 Year barista experience required. Knowledge of all coffee drinks hot and cold. Pro serve is required. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Customer Service related work experience. Previous experience in a coffee shop, cafe environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers. Detail-orientation in performing accurate transaction. Self-motivated and multi-tasks with minimal supervision. Effective work methods and consistently meets commitments. Effective communication skills-- clear, concise and positive.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
