We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for beverages and commitment to excellent customer service will help enhance the overall experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of slush and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations for order totals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe environment for both employees and customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A willingness to learn about beverages preparation techniques and menu offerings. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
