Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing customer transactions efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and serving areas. Assist customers by providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed. Uphold food safety and health regulations at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Familiarity with cashiering and POS systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
