Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our cafe team as we expand our coffee program . As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system

- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering any questions about our menu offerings

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the brewing equipment, countertops, and seating areas

- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of our products

- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

- Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a positive work environment

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Barista is required

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy

- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Must be able to work flexible shifts including mornings, weekends, and holidays
