We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. This role requires a passion for coffee and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed while adhering to food safety guidelines. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe working environment.
