Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling standards.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and providing accurate change to customers.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items.
Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, notifying management when restocking is necessary.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service.
Uphold the highest standards of food safety practices throughout all food preparation processes.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
Strong cashiering skills with experience in cash handling and basic math competencies.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but can be learned on the job.
A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
