We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. This position is not suitable for students as the hours include Monday -Friday day shifts as well as week ends . As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety guidelines during handling and serving. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Qualifications

Previous Barista experience . Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is desirable. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers positively. A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
