We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and experience in the food industry. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent service to our customers, and ensuring a clean and inviting environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to recipes and customer preferences Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery Follow all food handling procedures to maintain safety and quality standards Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively Experience in the food industry is a plus Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Knowledge of food safety practices is essential Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
