We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with a knack for creating exceptional coffee experiences. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and providing outstanding service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system for order processing and payment transactions. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment. Assist with food preparation and serving, adhering to food safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours. Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Experience in the food industry is a plus, particularly in food service or food preparation roles. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
